How did you get into riding / racing: I was racing BMX and a couple of the guys that raced bmx with me had dirt bikes they rode in this field behind my house. One day I went out there and my friend let me ride his 80, then I was hooked. I started racing with my neighbor who was younger than me. I was a fast learner and got 3rd my first race on an 80, everybody’s bikes were newer than mine but mine was faster and I was faster. I was improving every week and racing with some really fast kids (some are pros today) then I hurt my knee really bad and then started to take more of an interest in driving and partying in high school so I took about a 9 year break from racing but I was riding every now and then with friends but borrowing bikes because I sold mine to buy a car. Then in June of 2005 I bought my 450 and been trying to rekindle the flames so to speak. It’s a lot harder than I thought it would be, I thought I’d be as fast as I was back in the day in a couple of months but I’m still not there yet.

What was your first bike? 1982 Kawasaki KX 80

Anyone you’d like to thank? I’d like to thank my parents, my wife, my kids, my friends, my sponsors, and I’d like to thank Ronnie Densford for helping me out and being like the older brother I never had. Also I would like to thank Don Glover who is watching us from above, I love you and thank you for everything you’ve given me. And thank you God for this wonderful life you have given me.
