-Team PanicRev Ministries Invades Vegas-
The World Mini in Las Vegas, Nevada was Team PanicRev’s first real showing at an Amateur National—it was a large success. The team’s two riders, Travis Baker and Tatum Sik, put together some very strong finishes throughout the week! Baker is a 15 year old entering his first season on the big bikes and is looking to make an impact this season. In Vegas, the young rider finished 3rd in both the 250 4-stroke and the 125 open thru 16 classes. Travis once again found himself in the top 5 in the 125 2-stroke open class, as he crossed the line in 4th. Furthermore, Baker held on strong in the 125 B stock class. He put his Yamaha in a very respectable 8th place in a very highly competitive class.
Tatum Sik is a rising star in the women’s class. She is extremely determined and hungry to win! Sik unfortunately wadded up in practice at the World Mini and got ran over by a few other riders. The practice crash left her pretty sore and beat up walking into the rest of her week; however, her drive and unwavering heart wouldn’t allow her to hang up her boots. Sik lined up to the starting line with an extremely sore, swollen, and bruised arm, but when the gate dropped she came out swinging! When it was all said and done, Sik walked away going 2-2 for a 2nd overall. It was a little short of her goal; however, she showed just how bad she wanted to bring home a championship this season just by showing up to the line as beat up as she was.
It was a great week of racing and the PanicRev Ministries Crew is extremely proud of their team! Fore more team information and updates, check out www.panicrev.org |
