AVMotoplex is finally having a Quad Only Practice on: Monday, October 23, 2006 from 2:30pm to 6:30pm.

Please bring all your quad riding friends and relatives. This is basically a test run to see how many quad riders we can accumulate so that we may make a quad only practice on a permanent basis.

The Nationwide Cycle Big Air Series beginning November 5, 2006 will have a quad class. Bring your quads to the races!

$25 per rider.

Triple Crown Promotions, the newest and exciting promoting group to hit the Southern California area has put together a three race series at some of the finest facilities in California. “The Mike Thompson’s RV California Triple Crown Motocross Series” will visit three challenging and fun tracks beginning October 22nd, 2006. Triple Crown Promotions (TCP) group is working every aspect possible to bring innovative and rewarding events to the California racing scene. TCP is using creative ideas to pull in industry, and dealer support to offer more for the racers and their families.

Kelley Posthuma looked left, looked right, as I walked up to her while she was flagging for a race of the Fire/Police moto-cross series in mid July, 2006, at Starwest MX. She was aware and ready to gallop to the aid of any fallen racer at any second. However, the recent high school graduate was still able to smile and share a few words with me.  Introducing ourselves, she pointed up to a branch on small tree by the Starwest sign, she said "see that peach faced love bird."

Practice Information: Practice is going to start at 9 AM race day, Saturday, October 14.

Racing Times and Format: SX type format with qualifiers, all qualifiers are 2 motos.

For all inquiring minds, Barona Oaks will be up and running for this weekends’ GFI Event October 7th and 8th and the next CMMC sponsored event on October 14th and 15th .

We are on as scheduled for all other future events. We would like to invite all riders to come to Barona and show your support for motocross. With so few places left to ride in the San Diego area, we need to support our local tracks in strong numbers. The Barona Oaks Raceway is run by the California Mini Motorcycle Club. CMMC originated in 1973, and is a non for profit organization run by an all volunteer board of directors. CMMC is the Home of Champions in both rider accomplishments and the support of the amateur sport of motocross.
